Therapeutic Riding Association of Greece
is conducting a new seminar in Educational Therapeutic Riding with the
internationally renowned Pedagogue and Therapeutic Riding/Vaulting
instructor Mrs. Marietta Schulz.

The seminar includes theory and practice.
Theoretical instruction about Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Mental,
Learning, Emotional & Behavioral difficulties. Presentation of
Therapeutic Riding sessions (TRAG’s clients will participate) individual
and group ones. Observation, discussion and setting goals for the next
sessions. Organizing the therapeutic session and practices.
Participants can also attend the examination part of
Therapeutic Riding Instructors. There will be presentation of T.R.
sessions in videos.

Schulz
Marietta has a Diploma in Special Education from the
University of Cologne with specialised training in Psychoanalytical Family
Therapy, Psychomotor Movement Therapy and Therapeutic Riding and Vaulting. She
is an accomplished horsewoman and has been a certified German National
Equestrian Federation, Riding Instructor since 1981 and a FN German Vaulting
Instructor since 1988.
In 1993 Marietta, in conjunction with the University
of Dortmund and the German Kuratorium for Therapeutic Riding (DKThR), developed
a curriculum for Psychoeducational Vaulting/Riding. She has been a leader for
instructor certification courses for the DKThR since 1987.
Marietta has conducted workshops and seminars for
psychoeducational riding and vaulting all over the world (USA, Canada, Austria,
Netherlands, Italy, UK, Japan, Dubai and Brazil).
Since 2005 she is leading a Therapeutic Riding Centre.
This ThR Centre (called Die Gute Hand) is affiliated to a medico and
psychotherapeutic treatment home for children with socio-emotional and mental
health diseases.
Registration fees:

Registration fee includes educational material
(notes), coffee and light lunches. Participants will obtain correlative
Certifications at the end of the seminar.
All participants should have previous experience
either with horses or disabled people and/or therapeutic riding. All
participants should send a brief C.V. along with the application form.
